Discover Hambleton by night

Hambleton is blessed to sit within the eastern fringe of the North York Moors. The skies above are breath-taking by day, and also by night when the vast dark sky is revealed.

In December 2020, the Nork York Moors were designated an International Dark Sky Reserve by the International Dark-Sky Association, one of only 18 in the world.  They are officially one of the best places in the country to see stars, because of the low light pollution levels and clear horizons.

There's never been a better time to visit for a spot of stargazing.

This event is delivered in partnership with the Yorkshire Dales National park who have also been recognised as an International Dark Sky Reserve.
